The Artists
SEAN DILLON (Director) is a director, actor, and graphic designer. Favorite past directing projects include Sympathetic Magic by Lanford Wilson (Ailanthus Theater Co.), The Obligatory Roman Play by Robert Reese (4x4) and Stye of the Eye by Christopher Durang and Inventing van Gogh by Steven Deitz (Stella Adler Studio of Acting). ]
VICTORIA HAYNES (Nina) is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Theater roles include A Few Good Men & Ten Little Indians (Cortland Rep), I Was Tom Cruise (Fringe NYC Winner, Outstanding Play), Reckless (Stella Adler Company), Jesus Hopped the A-Train, A Movie Star Has to Star in Black & White (NYU Tisch Mainstage). She was most recently seen alongside Oscar-nominated Anne Hathaway in Rachel Getting Married.
JONATHAN HOPKINS (Treplev) graduated from New York University where he studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Credits include the Roxy Regional Theatre in Tennessee, The Actors Shakespeare Company in New Jersey, Piper Theater in Brooklyn and Lincoln Center's Meet the Artist series.
STEVEN DIETZ (Writer) has written thirty-plus plays which have been produced at regional theaters across the United States, as well as Off-Broadway. International productions of his work have been seen in England, Japan, Germany, France, Australia, Sweden, Russia, Slovenia, Argentina, Peru, Greece, Singapore, and South Africa. Recent plays include the widely-produced thriller, Yankee Tavern; the Steinberg Award finalist, Becky's New Car; the Pulitzer-nominated Last of the Boys (produced by Steppenwolf Theatre, Chicago); and the Edgar Award-winning Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure (from William Gillette and Arthur Conan Doyle). Other plays include Fiction (produced Off-Broadway by the Roundabout Theatre Company), Shooting Star, Inventing van Gogh, The Nina Variations, Private Eyes, Halcyon Days, God's Country, and Lonely Planet (PEN-USA Award for Drama). Mr. Dietz's work as a director has been seen at many of America's leading regional theaters. He divides his time between Seattle and Austin, where he is a professor at the University of Texas.
